The best explanation for what happened to our current economy came in 2006, way before any crash, when Peter Schiff spoke at the 2006 Mortgage Bankers Convention (video at the end after the break). He explained in great detail exactly what was about to happen to our economy and why. He explained this to a group that was making money hand over fist and full of excitement over the expected further good fortunes coming to them in their future. After the speech one member of the audience stood up and asked “As a lender and a property owner… should I just slit my wrists now?”
That may have been a joke meant to mock Peter Schiff. Few wanted to hear what he had to say. Fewer would believe him. Not because what he said didn’t make sense, not because they had a deeper understanding, but because they just didn’t want to believe what he said could possibly happen. He wasn’t the only one saying the exact same thing, it’s just he was the most visible, vocal and articulate.
Peter Schiff is a very important person to listen to right now. Less of a modern Nostradamus and more of a modern Paul Revere, he has been warning us of a coming catastrophe. Warning that there was still time to correct our path. We laughed at him.
The following video is one of the most powerful videos I have ever seen:

How was he able to speak with such certainty back then about Continue Reading >>
Phenomenal! I’ve never heard a stronger case made for Libertarianism and Free Trade from an Anthropological point of view. The opening statement subtly helps put Global Warming Alarmism in perspective. He even quoted the famous libertiarian piece I Pencil. Matt Ridley just gave this presentation several days ago at TED. This is up there with the quality of Richard Dawkins’ Growing Up in the Universe.
Today I just saw the new Robin Hood movie directed by Ridley Scott. I was SURPRISED. Not just because I liked it better than I thought I would. Not because it was political, but because the message was so different from what you expect of the man who steals from the rich to give to the poor. And mostly that the message was so eloquently SPOT ON.
I never judge a movie’s quality by what it’s trying to say. I judge it by how well it says it. Avatar was an amazing movie, expressed itself powerfully, even though its message was juvenile. Not only did Robin Hood have an excellent message, but it brought it out in dramatic form so expertly.
This movie was about taxes. Yes, taxes. And it drives home the point of what taxes mean in the backstory. Showing how in 12th Century England people of the country are breaking their backs to support themselves in harsh times, only to see what they’ve produced and earned ripped from their hands by rulers demanding that everyone pay their fair share. Their fare share for the rulers’ endless wars and other endless expensive spending projects. Eventually it gets to be too much and the people organize together in mass for a tax revolt. Hmm… Tea Party?
I’m google-ing online now and finding many critics are very upset that this is not the classic steal from the rich to give to the poor Robin Hood. There’s no other such socialist undertones that imply rising higher than others is inherently wrong. No, instead there’s a demand on the King that a charter be drafted to limit his powers so that he cannot spend or tax without the consent of the governed. Robin Hood shouts to the crowd “What we ask for is Liberty. Liberty by Law!”, and makes the case to the King that a land of free people will create a stronger more prosperous England, as well as create citizens more loyal than any King enjoys.
[Check out the Trailer Below]
Yup, the movie’s message is a nearly explicit rallying cry for the Tea Party movement. And feels like an attack on both Bush and Obama. Continue Reading >>
This is a continuation of my latest article:
Have you read it?
No? Go read it and come back.
This is eye-opening. I guess those in the Mainstream Media feel so emboldened with their power as a significant source for spreading information, that they believe they can just discredit and eliminate any movement that might be bothersome to their agenda.
I got several emails from my last article asking me to give some evidence of the media smearing the Tea Party. Ok, valid, the following is just a drop from a small splash in the wave of media smearing of the Tea Party.
First off, Guys… I have something to tell you. I just found out I’m in love. Yes, it’s true. Oh my god, this girl is AMAZING! I just found this right now. Dana Loesch held her own against Hardball’s Chris Matthews’ relentless attempts to smear the Tea Party movement, and made the argument I made in my last post better than I possibly could have on air. Behold:
There are many examples of smearing: Continue Reading >>
Today is Tax day. Here’s my special article to celebrate.
It’s very likely that you know someone who is crushed under a huge debt he/she can’t get free of. Well that’s what happens when you spend much more than you make. You’ll have to pay for it at some point in the future. And when the future becomes due, life becomes hard. The extra financial burden and lack of new credit sucks.
Let’s say you’re in debt, but it wasn’t you who spent it. Let’s say a buddy started running your card and buying a bunch of things you don’t want for people you don’t know. He’s got an idea to help some people out, so that’s cool, right? That’s legit? But he didn’t buy a few hundred dollars worth of stuff. The dude ran your bill up to $78,000! WTF? That’s more than your yearly salary, it’ll take years to pay off. Besides, you thought your credit limit was like only $7000. Well that’s ok, your friend managed to raise your credit limit to infinity, so there’s no telling how much he’ll make you responsible for, plus compounding interest. And.. he’s.. only.. just.. getting.. started.
What!? You don’t like it? Too bad motherfucker! If you don’t like it, you’re a RACIST!!!
Now I’ve seen a lot of media smearing over the years, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much smearing as what’s being done to the Tea Party.
This is vicious. Continue Reading >>
Note: I wrote this about a year ago during the time of the bailouts.
Guys this is serious. No one has been hurt more in this recession than Gold Diggers. As our country loses its Millionaires and Billionaires at an alarming rate, beautiful young women from every metropolitan city are being forced from their condos, left to fend for themselves on the streets without their Mercedes, Louis Vuitton handbags, unable to shade light without any Christian Dior sunglasses. Furthermore, this sharp rise in condo evictions is flooding our court system and causing considerable harm and embarrassment to the wives and children of the men who previously supported these Gold Diggers.
When one takes an honest and deep look into this situation, only then can one realize just how serious this crisis is, for all of us. Surprisingly the income needed to support the Gold Diggers of this country is approximately $30Trillion/year, that’s more than TWICE the Gross Domestic Product of our nation. More importantly they do not save a dollar, every penny they receive goes right back into our economy. They are the WET DREAM of any STIMULUS PACKAGE. Bailing out the Gold Diggers will provide an immediate boost to our economy. In fact, since the average Gold Digger will typically spend at least 2 to 3 times what she receives, they have the potential to get our economy completely out of this recession. Our nation can’t afford to lose this level of spending. To a lesser extent, our greater Los Angeles region can’t afford to lose Sunset Plaza, Rodeo Dr. and the whole of Beverly Hills. We need a national Bailout program of at least $5Trillion to support our Gold Diggers, bring back their spending, and finally teach our children that we do have a responsible government.
“Please help us. Oh great lords in Congress and the White House, please save us from ourselves. We know not what we do. We are helpless. Please give us jobs. Please give us money. Please give us healthcare. Please give us food. Please give us homes. Please give us green automobiles. Please give us cellphones. Please give us internet access…”
Have you heard anything like this before? Well you have. It was the 2008 US elections.
My friends, the root of our problems are not created by our government. Our government was elected voluntarily. Our problems today are created from weakness. Weakness screaming the words above. Look to those around you, the children in adult bodies, those citizens (and businesses) who give up and are looking for handouts. They don’t know who provides it, they don’t realize that it’s being taxed and taken from you, while you are out there struggling, and I doubt they care. It doesn’t matter what kind of constitution document we have in place, when people get weak, they’re going to reach for mommy. Those who want mommy to help them end up enslaving the rest of us in their demands to be spoon fed. It is weakness and short sightedness that’s leading to the growing government control of our lives, the growing government takeover of the economy, the growing government spending of our future, and the rapid decline in our control over how we live our own lives.
The weak want rulers.
It’s easier. If you’ve lost self control, might as well let someone else take the reigns. Weakness breeds government policy that supports and encourages more weakness. If it spreads further it elects more planners and rulers.
The path to turn this country around is to breed strength. People must discover what they’re capable of. That they can be valuable. That crutches are dead weight that they don’t need, when they’re each capable of flying.
The strong demand more freedom.
They don’t need handouts. They don’t need master planners. They’re capable. They’re productive.
Just imagine what kind of government and society we would have if we truly had a nation yelling:
“We Are Not Pawns. I’m not a fucking chess piece. Stop taxing us. Stop regulating us. Stop spending our future. Stop stimulating us. Stop supporting us. Stop taking care of us. Stop planning our lives. Just give us some space. And STOP. We Are Not Pawns.”
